• Confirm insurance benefits, including co-pay details, and submit claims directly to the insurance provider.
• Offer support with prior authorizations and financial assistance programs to help secure timely access to medication.
• Both the prescriber and patient are informed of the prescription status within 48 hours of receiving it.
• CarePoint Health Pharmacy reaches out to the patient to discuss available support services throughout the duration of their treatment.
  • Once medications have been dispensed, patients will receive counseling on their prescriptions, including potential side effects and how to reach the pharmacy with any concerns or questions.
  • Throughout the course of treatment, CarePoint Health Pharmacy’s specialty care coordinators work closely with patients to support adherence, track and report side effects, and connect them with helpful resources as needed.
